The organisers of the Cayman Sevens tournament made the recent announcement that the 2007 tournament would not take place in June this year. They said "future plans for the tournament in 2007 and beyond [including possibly running the tournament in November as a 'warm up' to the World Sevens Series] remained under discussion"

Leading sports manufacturer Kukri sports have produced two polo shirts for the C I Sevens available in dark blue with either green or white detailing and featuring the C I Sevens logo. They have also produced caps and wide brimmed hats. These items are now available on-island; shirts are CI$30 each (L 42" and XL 46" only) and hats are CI$15.

Specialist Sports TV production company Pro Active TV have signed a deal with
Sky TV in Europe to broadcast their coverage of this years CI Sevens tournament over the Sky Network on 27th June 2006.

Also we have a brand new competition to announce: As the recommended formal attire for todays event is now swim shorts for the guys and bikinis for the ladies, there will be a top prize for the smallest bikini and one for the worst/stupidest shorts. Come on, you know you want to!!
